Suggestions for design and manufacturing of multi-layer trommel screen

   When screening material quantity is bigger and need high screening efficiency, it would be better to use multi-layer trommel screen. Multi-layer trommel screen generally adopts gear transmission method, the cylinder body is multi layers. There are coarse mesh,  middle fine screen and fine mesh from inside to the outside of screen cylinder. Screen cylinder has a 7-10 degrees angle, which is convenient to the movement of materials along the length direction of screen cylinder. This kind of trommel screen can be added spray device according to the requirements in practical work, and its mesh should be cleaned timely. 

 

 

   Multi-layer trommel screen's power source is three-phase asynchronous motor, and screening material through the rotation of reducer gear which causes the rotation of screen mesh. Multi-layer trommel screen can be supported by more than two groups tug according to the length of screen cylinder to make the machine operate smoothly.

 

 

The common industry using multi-layer trommel screen is sand production line. When screening capacity is bigger, use this kind of screening machine, there are low cost, less maintenance and easy to maintain. So the multi-layer trommel screen is widely used.
